Acting as a Matter bridge, it exposes Aqara Zigbee devices to other Matter ecosystems (like Apple Home, Google Home, SmartThings) while also serving as a Thread Border Router. Thanks to its edge computing capabilities, automations and data storage can remain local for reliability, speed, and privacy—even without internet access.
The M3 also includes a 360° IR blaster so you can control traditional IR appliances like air conditioners. With dual power options (USB-C or PoE) and local encrypted storage, it’s built for flexibility, power, and privacy.
